Hokanson qualified in women's pole vault with her top vault coming at last weekend's NSIC Indoor Track & Field Championships. The senior has a top clearance of 13-2.5 (4.03m) which won her the conference championship in the event. Hokanson's vault is currently the ninth-best in Division II this season.

Bruer will compete in the men's 800m run at the national meet following his third straight conference title in the event. Bruer's top time of 1:49.29 (converted from 1:50.85) is the fifth-best 800m run in Division II this season. It is also a new MSUM indoor school record.

Oduong leads the sprints group as he will compete in the 400m dash following his first conference title in the event. The Bismarck, N.D., product has a top time of 47.44 (also an MSUM school record), which he set at the UND Open on January 26. The time is currently the eighth-fastest in all of Division II in 2023-24.

Finally, Kemp will compete in both long jump and triple jump after another stirring season for MSUM. Kemp has a top long jump of 24-11.75 (7.61m), which is an indoor personal best and earned him All-NSIC distinction. The mark is also the third-best long jump in Division II this year. In triple jump, Kemp claimed his fifth straight NSIC indoor crown in the event and holds a top mark of 51-10.5 (15.81m), which is second-best in Division II this season.

Ryan Milner is in his seventh season as MSUM's head track & field coach. At the national meet, he will be assisted by Trevor Barry (sprints/jumps) and Anthony Spandl (pole vault).
