MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The MSU Moorhead men's and women's track and field teams will travel to St. Paul, Minn., to compete in the NSIC Outdoor Championships beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday and concluding on Saturday.
The last competition for the Dragons was the NDSU Tune-Up on Friday last weekend.
For the Dragon men, junior
Ibrahim Oduong won the men's 400m dash, while sophomore
Elliott MacLennan and senior
Kendrick Major finished in fourth and fifth respectively. Oduong's time of 47.31 is the fastest in the NSIC this season and is the second-fastest in MSUM history. The time was also a new NDSU Tune-Up meet record. The men's 4x100m relay, the team of
Thomas Kern,
Shyrone Kemp,
Shaquiel Higgs and
Ty Dawkins finished first and set a meet record in the event.
For the Dragon women, junior
Robynn Rolle-Curry won the women's 400m dash. Sophomore
Ashley Hokanson won the women's pole vault. Sophomore
Grace Dorsher finished third in the women's 1500m run. Freshman
Kaelyn Berg won the women's 5000m run.
Ryan Milner is in his sixth season as head coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead.
