MSU Moorhead Athletics

Indoor: Was a member of the All-NSIC 4x400m relay team that placed second at the NSIC Indoor Track & Field Championships...had a personal-best time of 22.24 in the 200m at the Dakota Alumni Classic to place second...ran a career-best 48.58 in the 400m to place third at the SDSU D2 Invite...won the 400m at the Bison Open with a time of 49.16.
Outdoor: All-NSIC performer on both MSUM's 4x100m and 4x400m relay team that each finished runner-up at the NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Championships...set a new personal-best in the 200m (21.96) at the NDSU Tune-Up...finished third in the 100m dash with a time of 10.90 at the Ron Masanz Classic. 

Before MSUM: Ran at Concordia College where he set the school record in the indoor 400m (49.31). 

Prep: Competed at Grafton High School where he partook in the triple jump, 300m hurdles, the 400m and the 200m...also played basketball for the Spoilers. 

Personal: Son of Janice and Joseph Kern. Majoring in entertainment industries and technology.
