BURNSVILLE, Minn. — Minnesota State University Moorhead junior Megan Hintz has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference North Division Player of the Week in women's basketball, the league announced on Monday. It is the third straight week Hintz has earned the award.

The Rochester, Minn., native had two more double-doubles to help the MSUM women wrap up their third straight Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference regular season championship.  Hintz had 19 points and 13 rebounds in the win over Minot State on Friday and added a 20-point, 10-rebound effort on Saturday at Mary.

For the week Hintz averaged 19.5 points and 11.5 rebounds.  She now has an NSIC-best 15 double-doubles this season.
