BURNSVILLE, Minn. — Minnesota State University Moorhead sophomore
Kiley Borowicz has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference North Division Player of the Week in women's basketball, the league announced on Monday.
It is the first NSIC weekly honor of Borowicz's Dragon career.
Borowicz averaged 17.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game in helping MSUM to two wins at the Cherry Creek Holiday Inn Classic in Denver, Colo. She had 14 points and a season-high seven rebounds in a 62-41 rout of Metro State on Friday and followed with a season-high 20 points and five assists in a 74-61 win over Colorado Christian.
The Roseau, Minn., native hit 6-of-12 three-pointers (50 percent) on the week.
MSUM is at Northern State on Saturday to open NSIC play.
