MOORHEAD, Minn. –  The Minnesota State University Moorhead softball team wraps up the 2018 regular season with five doubleheaders in six days. The Dragons open the week against Concordia on Tuesday before playing four Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference doubleheaders in five days.

The Dragons are 11-23 overall and 4-12 in the NSIC.  They went 1-5 last week, with the win coming over St. Cloud State, which is ranked eighth in the latest Central Region standings.

Sophomore outfielder Madison Paige is hitting .365 with a homer and 22 RBI, while freshman first baseman Ashley McCance is hitting .361 with four homers and 14 RBI. Junior shortstop Taylor Roddie is hitting .321 with two homers and 10 RBI. As a team the Dragons are hitting .274 with 13 homers and 120 RBI. Sophomore Tori White is 4-8 on the mound with a 5.40 ERA while freshman Becky Berth leads with six wins.

Kelsey Fehl is in her eighth season as the MSUM head coach. Fehl picked up her 100th career win in the Game 2 victory over St. Cloud State.

About Concordia
The Cobbers are 4-26 on the season. Brooke Ankerfelt leads the team with a .296 average, while Elizabeth Asp is hitting .276 with a team high 11 RBI.  As a team the Cobbers are hitting .205 with four homers and 63 RBI. Abby Haraldson is 3.66 with a 3-11 ERA with 68 strikeouts in 82.1 innings.  Chad Slyter is in his second season as the Concordia head coach with a record of 13-57.

About Mary
The Marauders are 15-16 overall and 6-12 in the NSIC. They were swept by Winona State,7-0 and 8-0 on Sunday.  Rebekkah Keller is hitting .359 with four RBI while Emma Noble hits .341 with seven homers and 16 RBI. Kylie Alton has six homers and 17 RBI.  As a team, Mary hits .285 with 25 homers and 119 RBI. On the mound Sarah Thomson is 5-6 with a 4.03 ERA. Kerry Shaw is in his third season as the U-Mary head coach with a record of 52-84.

About Northern State
Northern State is 23-17 overall and 13-7 in the NSIC. The Wolves swept Minnesota State on Sunday.
Courtney Sjerven leads the Wolves with a .381 average, while Kennady Thompson is hitting .380 with four homers and 26 RBI. As a team the Wolves are hitting .304 with 16 homers and 157 RBI. On the mound Jamie Fisher is 18-10 with a 2.47 ERA in 178.1 innings.  Jenny Fuller is in her first season as the Northern State head coach.

About Winona State
Winona State is 35-5 overall and 14-2 in the NSIC. Lani Van Zyl is hitting .436 with 10 homers and 47 RBI. MeKenna Larsen is hitting .423 with 28 RBI. As a team Winona State is hitting .334 with 26 homers and 233 RBI. Joryn Kleman is 15-1 with a 1.65 ERA while McKenna Larsen is 12-4 with a 2.01 ERA. Greg Jones is in his 18^th season as the Winona State head coach with a record of 707-254.

About Upper Iowa
Upper Iowa is 18-20 overall and 5-13 in the NSIC. The Peacocks were swept on the road last weekend by Mary and Minot State. Jordan Brennan leads Upper Iowa with a .364 average with four homers and 21 RBI. Jenny Budds is hitting .338, while Katie Crogan has a team-high seven home runs.  Upper Iowa is hitting .293 as a team with 22 homers and 149 RBI. On the mound Emily Kisch is 9-8 with a 3.51 ERA.
