MOORHEAD, Minn. - Minnesota State University Moorhead Athletics and Dragon Fire are hosting the 1st Dragon Fire Endzone Extravaganza on Sept. 7 to help jump start the 2017-18 MSUM football and athletic seasons.

MSUM hosts Southwest Minnesota State at 7 p.m. that evening. Doors will open at 4:30 with food trucks and beer garden will beginning serving at 5 p.m. that day on the north side of Scheels Field.

With a focus on adding extra energy around Scheels Field at MSUM, food trucks, yard games, and a beer garden will be stationed inside of the stadium with the goal of moving tailgating next to the field. With the goal of increasing the community and atmosphere around Dragon Athletic Events, the booster club has been planning for several months.

"With all the excitement around the 2017-18 sports seasons, Dragon Fire is #firedup to create a memorable kickoff to the sports season while creating a fun and exciting environment for everyone at the home opener." said Matt Oachs, Dragon Fire President. "This will be a great time to connect with fellow alumni and others in the F/M community."

Food trucks serving will be Dogfather Mobile Eatery, Lupe's Tasty Tacos and Jumbo's Sloppy Joes.
