MOORHEAD, Minn. — Senior football player Austin Stone and freshman volleyball player Sarah Petrbok have been named the Minnesota State University Moorhead/Courtyard by Marriott Athletes of the Week for the week of Sept. 25-Oct. 1.

Stone picked up the fourth 100-yard rushing game of his career during the Dragons' 28-20 loss at Northern State on Saturday. The New London, Minn., native rushed for a season-high 131 yards and a touchdown on 28 carries during Saturday's game.  Stone leads the Dragons in rushing yards (371) and touchdowns (five).

Petrbok had one of the best weeks of her young Dragon career for MSUM. She posted a career-high 14 kills against No. 2-ranked Concordia-St. Paul on Friday and followed with 13 kills against Minnesota State on Saturday. She also had 40 digs in the two matches, including a career-high 22 vs. Minnesota State. For the season the Addison, Ill., native is second on the team with 156 digs.
