MOORHEAD, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead men's basketball team, fresh off a pair of big wins at home, starts a stretch of four straight road games this week. The Dragons will play at Bemidji State at 8 p.m. on Friday and wrap up the weekend with a game at Minnesota Crookston at 6 p.m. on Saturday.
The Dragons are 11-3 overall and 7-3 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and in a four-way tie for first in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference's North Division along with Bemidji State, Northern State and St. Cloud State.
MSUM will meet Bemidji State for a 177th time with the Dragons holding a 93-83 series lead, including earning a 77-68 win in December. MSUM holds a 29-9 lead in the all-time series with Minnesota Crookston, including a 102-77 rout of the Golden Eagles in December.

MSUM recorded a pair of big home wins last weekend. The Dragons topped Concordia-St. Paul, 100-85, thanks to a career-high 19 points from sophomore guard
Ngijol Songolo. A night later, MSUM topped No. 12-ranked Minnesota State, Mankato, 99-85, with eight players scoring in double figures, led by junior
Urbane Bingham's 17 points.

Tarell Clark is at 9.4 points per game. Clark leads at 6.9 rebounds per game while also leading with 18 steals. Riewer leads with 55 assists.
MSUM scores 86.1 points per game -- second-best in the NSIC -- and is shooting 48.8 percent from the field, including 42.6 percent from three-point range. The Dragons outrebound their foes 38.9-31.2 and are allowing 69.7 points per contest.
Chad Walthall is in his fourth season as MSUM's head coach with a record of 66-36 at the school.
About Bemidji State
Bemidji State is 10-4 overall and 7-3 in the NSIC. The Beavers won a pair of games on the road last weekend, including a 97-79 win over Augustana on Jan. 10, thanks to 34 points from junior guard Brock Lutes. A night later, Lutes scored 25 points in Bemidji's 69-46 rout of Wayne State.
Lutes leads Bemidji State at 19.4 points per game while senior forward Zach Noreen is at 16.9. Jake Schalow averages 13.4 points per game while senior forward Maxie Rosenboom averages 11.0 points and a team-best 9.4 rebounds per game. Michael Farrington leads with 51 assists and 34 steals.
Bemidji State average 83.9 points per game and is shooting 51.0 percent from the field, best in the league. The Beavers are hitting 42.4 percent from three-point range and are outrebounding their opponents 36.3-30.2. Bemidji State allows 69.9 points per game and teams are shooting 42 percent against the Golden Bears.
Mike Boschee is in his second season as Bemidji State's head coach with a record of 28-16 at the school.
About Minnesota Crookston
Minnesota Crookston is 4-10 overall and 1-9 in the NSIC. The Golden Eagles, who face Northern State prior to facing MSUM, have lost eight in a row, including road losses at Wayne State (65-51) and Augustana (79-61) last weekend.
Two Golden Eagles average in double figures, led by senior Ashton Harrell at 15.3 points per game and Brandon Burns at 11.7 points per game. Tyler West averages 5.5 points per game while Kevin Larson leads with 4.5 assists per game along with 15 steals.
As a team, Minnesota Crookston scores 66.0 points per game and is shooting 43.0 percent from the field. The Golden Eagles are being outrebounded by their opponents, 36.1-32.1. UMC allows 81.1 points per game.

Tarell Clark is having a solid all-round season for MSUM. He is third on the team in scoring (9.4) but leads the team in rebounding (6.6 per game) and steals (18). Clark is shooting 54.1 percent from the field, best of any team in the Dragon rotation, and also has an impressive 36 offensive rebounds.
