MOORHEAD, Minn. -- The winners for the Midcontinent Communications Grill-Off Contest were crowned on Saturday prior to the Minnesota State University Moorhead football team's game with St. Cloud State.
All finalists for the Grill-Off prepared food for five judges on Saturday, who determined the winners. The finalists were determined from the weekly winners throughout the Dragons' home football season.
The winner of the grill-off was Dan DeJong, who received a $650 certificate to Meats by John and Wayne. Second place was awarded to Phil and Shannon Hebert, who received a $450 gift certificate to Hornbachers, with third place going to Robert Jones, who received a $250 gift certificate to Menard's.
