Prep: Graduate of Devils Lake High School…12-time letter winner including six times in wrestling and three times in both football and track and field…member of the 2008 North Dakota State Championship second place football team…All-State honors senior year and All-Conference…named team captain both junior and senior seasons…in track was a three-time North Dakota qualifier in the 100m dash, two-time state participant in pole vaulting and set a high school record with a jump of 14’-1’’…named team captain his junior and senior seasons…in wrestling, was a five-time state tournament participant and a three-time Eastern Dakota Conference champion…was team captain all four seasons of high school.

Personal: Majoring in Criminal Justice…son of Don and Noreen Ballard.
