Prep: Forged rewarding prep career as outside/right side hitter at Hastings High School...elected captain as a senior, voted Best Blocker and Best Offensive Player...member of Mizuno Northern Lights for three years, helped 17-4s place second at Colorado Crossroads Qualifier in 2007.

Personal: Daughter of Gary and Martha Braaten…Elementary Education major.
