Prep: Was a standout for Montevideo High School, earning two trips to the Minnesota state championships...was a three-time all-conference selection in the 100-yard breaststroke...also earned three all-conference certificates in diving...was an all-state diver as a junior, breaking the Montevideo 11-dive school record...also served as team captain...placed sixth in diving at the Minnesota state meet that season...also competed in basketball and track & field where she three-time state qualifier.
