Prep: Was a strong sprinter for Roosevelt High School in Sioux Falls...holds top times of 26.16 in the 200m and 13.07 in the 100m...was a South Dakota state entrant as a part of Roosevelt's 4x200m, 4x400m and sprint medley relays...also competed in volleyball.

Personal: Daughter of Ashley and Dan Volkmer. Majoring in pre-medicine.Â
