2024-25
Indoor:
All-NSIC in the high jump following a runner-up finish in the event at the NSIC Indoor Track & Field Championships...had a clearance of 6-09.5 (2.07m) at the conference meet...had a season-best effort in the high jump at the Bison Open, clearing 6-09.75 (2.08m), which is the seventh-best height in school history...also set a season best in the 400m at the UND Open, clocking a 50.24...competed on MSUM's 4x400m relay team that finished fifth at the conference meet. 
Outdoor: Named MSUM Co-Male Athlete of the Year...First Team All-America in the high jump after an eighth-place finish at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships...cleared a personal best 6-11.5 (2.12m) to earn his spot on the national podium...the leap stands alone as the fourth-best outdoor high jump in program history...All-NSIC in the high jump following a runner-up finish at the league meet, clearing 6-08.75 (2.05m)...picked up event wins in the high jump at both the Al Bortke Open and the NDSU Spring Classic...earned a runner-up spot in the high jump at the Bison Open, clearing 6-10.25 (2.09m)...was named NSIC Field Athlete of the Week on April 15. 

Before MSUM: Competed for Minot State during the 2023-24 season where he was an NCAA Division II Outdoor All-American in high jump...finished 14th at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with a top clearance of 6-07.75...was the NSIC's outdoor champion in the high jump behind a personal best clearing of 7-0.25, which also became a new NSIC record...was also an All-NSIC performer as part of Minot State's runner-up 4x400m relay team...narrowly missed All-NSIC distinction at the NSIC Indoor Track & Field Championships, placing fourth with a jump of 6-07....holds a personal best 400m time of 52.60 and 22.75 in the 200m.

Prep: Held a personal best high jump of 6-06 while at Lustre Christian High School...competed in high, long and triple jump during his prep career where he was a three-time state champion...also competed in basketball where he was a two-time all-conference performer...was also an all-state selection in basketball. 

Personal: Son of Erica and Sheny Hambira. Majoring in digital media management.
