Indoor: Did not compete. 
Outdoor: All-NSIC in the javelin after a third-place finish in the event at the NSIC Outdoor Championships...registered a season best performance at the conference meet, slinging a 185-10 (56.65m)...finished fourth in the javelin at the NDSU Spring Classic with top marks of 177-09 (54.19m)...competed at the Willie Williams Classic, throwing a 171-07 (52.31m) to place 24th overall. 

2023-24
Indoor: Did not compete.
Outdoor: Competed in five meets for MSUM...earned a fourth-place finish in the javelin throw at the USD Early Bird with a measure of 185-5 (56.53m)...also earned a fourth-place nod in the even at the Al Cassell Classic...collected a personal best in the event at the NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hurling a 186-10 (56.95m) to finish sixth overall...the throw is sixth-best in program history. 

Prep: Had a top javelin throw of 180-0 while at Harvey High School where he also competed in sprinting events...was a North Dakota state placewinner in four events for two consecutive seasons...was also an all-state football player for Harvey High School...also competed in basketball.

Personal: Son of Jodi and Chad Friese. Majoring in business administration.
