Biography

2023: Played and started in 46 games, hitting .333 with a career-high four home runs and 31 RBIs...featured a .522 slugging percentage to go along with a .411 on-base percentage...collected 46 total hits (12 of them doubles) with 72 total bases throughout the year...NSIC All-Academic Team...CSC Academic All-District selection.

2022: Played and started in 44 games for MSUM...hit .237 with 11 RBIs and 31 total hits...had a .336 slugging percentage and a .286 on-base percentage...had 194 put outs and a .985 fielding percentage...NSIC All-Academic Team.

2021: Appeared in 34 games with 33 starts in the outfield, missing nine games with injury...finished third on team with .268 average...had three doubles and five RBI...Named to NSIC All-Academic Team.

2020: Second on team with .343 batting average in COVID-shortened eason...appeared in all 14 games...had two doubles and three RBI...named to NSIC All-Academic Team.

2019: Hit .295 in 44 at-bats...appeared in 24 games with 16 starts in outfield...had three doubles, a homer and seven RBI...had three-hit game in Game 2 vs. St. Cloud State (4/10/19).

Prep: Earned 2017 2nd All-Team Award…2017 CIF Division I Champions…hit .409 as a junior…currently playing for SoCal Breakers and led with most stolen bases and hit five home runs…three-year letterwinner in softball…also lettered in track…will complete senior year this spring.

Personal: Daughter of Sonia Brown and Rod Smith...speech language hearing sciences major.
