Biography

2012-13:  Named to All-NSIC second team...named to NABC Central District second team...led Dragons in scoring (19.3 points per game), assists (4.1), three-pointers made (83), field goals made (191) and free throws made (113)...also averaged 5.1 rebounds and 1.0 steals per game...two-time NSIC Player of the Week...had 27 double-figure scoring games to lead team...had career-high 32 points in win over No. 11-ranked St. Cloud State (12/15/12)...had career-high 10 assists in win over May (2/22/13).

2011-12: Redshirted.

2010-11 (Winona State): Averaged nearly 16 points per game in 26 games at Winona State.

2009-10 (University of Iowa): Started all 11 games he played...netted double figures in five of the 11 games. . . made a season-high six 3-pointers vs. Virginia Tech and Prairie View A&M and five against Drake . . . posted a game and career-high nine assists to go along with 13 points in win over Bowling Green . . . tied career high with 24 points vs. Virginia Tech, bolstered by sinking six treys, in Big Ten/ACC Challenge . . . reached the 20-point plateau in consecutive contests (20 points vs. Prairie View A&M and 24 vs. Virginia Tech to lead all scorers).

2008-09 (University of Iowa): Started eight of 14 games he played...scored in double figures in eight games and led team in scoring in five games.

Prep: Named Metro Player of the Year by Minneapolis Star-Tribune as a senior . . . first team all-state as a senior and finalist for Minnesota Mr. Basketball . . . only player in conference history to be unanimous selection to all-conference team as a freshman, sophomore, junior and senior . . . first team all-state as a junior by the St. Paul Pioneer Press . . . first team all-Metro as a junior and senior . . . three-point champion and Player of the Game at Minnesota Coaches Association all-star game . . . second team all-state selection as a sophomore . . . two-year team captain . . . led team to state championship as a senior as team posted 28-3 overall record . . . scored 27 points in state championship game, including 20 points in the second half as team rallied from a 22-point deficit in the first half . . . school career scoring leader with 1,908 points . . . set school record for three-point percentage (44.6%) as a senior . . . averaged 21.8 points per game as a senior, along with 6.3 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 2.8 assist to turnover ratio . . . as a senior shot 55.4% from the field, 44.6% (87-195) from three-point range and 80% from the free throw line . . . averaged 18.7 points, 5.9 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game as a junior, scoring in double figures in 26 of 28 games . . . shot 41% (62-150) from three-point range as a junior, fifth best percentage in school history . . . led prep team to 17-9 record as a junior, as team advanced to finals of Class 4-A, Section 2 . . . averaged 20.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists as a sophomore and 14.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.8 assists as a freshman . . .
