Biography

2012-13: Named to Daktronics All-Central Region second team...All-NSIC first team selection...CoSida Capital One Academic All-American, first MSUM men's basketball player since 1996 to earn honor...also earned NSIC All-Academic honors during winter season...led Dragons in rebounding (9.7) and blocked shots (50) during the year...averaged 13.4 points per game, second on the team...had 12 double-doubles to lead the team...had 20 points and 17 rebounds in NSIC tournament win over SMSU...had 25 double-figure scoring games, second on the team...shot 57.8 percent from the field...
finished as MSUM career leader in blocks (223) and rebounds (1,054).

2011-12: Started 30 of 31 games…averaged 9.6 points and a NSIC leading 9 rebounds per game…played 30.8 minutes per game...led the NSIC in shooting percentage, .636, 143-225...scored a season high 18 points at Concordia-St. Paul while shooting 7-of-11 from the field…recorded 9 double-doubles and a season high 18 rebounds at then-No. 3 Winona State…extended MSUM’s school record in blocks to 173 while totaling 51 on the season...named to the NSIC All-Academic Team and the All-NSIC Second Team.

2010-11:  The current blocked-shots record holder at MSUM…broke the record Feb. 19 against Upper Iowa and currently has 122 blocks after 54 games played...averaged 9.3 points per game while starting all 27 games…led the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference in rebounding (10.7), blocks (1.96) and was third in minutes played (34.78) per game…scored in double figures 13-times and had double digit rebounds 17-times…recorded nine double-double games…shot 56.2 percent (109-194) from the field and .532 (33-62) from the free throw line…registered a career game against Winona State on Jan. 15 while scoring 18 points and recording 21 rebounds…earned NSIC All-Academic honors...named second team All-NSIC and All-Region Academic winner.

2009-10: Supplanted himself in the Dragon record books as he set the single season blocks record at MSUM, tallying 69 in his rookie campaign, breaking the 26 year old record of 54 blocks...averaged 2.6 blocks per game...honored as the team's co-Most Valuable Player, Freshman of the Year and the Defensive Player of the Year...registered three double-doubles coming on Jan. 2 (Southwest Minnesota State), Feb. 13 (Minnesota Duluth) and Feb. 24 (Northern State)...scored in double figures nine times and grabbed double digit rebounds seven times...averaged 7.6 points and 7.3 rebounds in 26.0 minutes played per game...registered a career-high 18 points, 14 rebounds and six blocks against Northern State on Feb. 24.

Prep: Graduate of Clear Creek Amana High School…received 10 athletic letters including four in track and field, three in football and three in basketball…second team All-State senior year…holds basketball school records with 1,135 career pts, 702 career rebounds and 263 career blocks…second team All-State senior year football…State Shuttle Hurdle Relay Champions 2009…Academic All-State basketball in 2009…member of National Honor Society and 4-H.
