Biography

2015: Played in all 11 games on the defensive line...recorded 21 tackles, including eight solo stops...had a season-high four tackles against SMSU (9/26/15)...named to the NSIC All-Academic Team for the fall season.

2014: Appeared in all 11 games, contributing on the defensive line and special teams...finished with 10 tackles (one solo, nine assist)...had a season-high two tackles four times...also finished with one tackle for lsos and a pass breakup.

2013: Appeared in nine games on the defensive line...finished with 15 tackles (eight solo, seven assists)...also had one sack.

2012: Sat out as a redshirt.

Prep: Part of second-best defense in the state...part of team that set school record for least yards allowed in a single game...two-year letterwinner...also played lacross

Personal: Son of Brent Ecklund and Ann Walstrom...political science major...born Oct. 27, 1993.
