2010: Recorded three assisted tackles in two games… he was a part of the Dragons defense that ranked tenth in the conference in red zone defense.

Prep: A 13-time letterwinner at West Central Area High School in Barrett, Minn…a 2009 graduate of WCHS where he lettered in football four times under Head Coaches Mike Frisch and Tim Pattrin…served as the team captain as a senior…selected as a first team All-Conference honoree in 2007 and 2008 after being named to the honorable mention team in 2006…named the WCHS Most Valuable Offensive Back in 2008 and was the team’s Most Valuable Player in 2007...a six-time letterwinner in wrestling…a Minnesota State Wrestling Tournament participant in 2007 and 2009…served as team captain during 2008-09 season…lettered in baseball three times.

Personal: A native of Barrett, Minn…the son of Bonnie and Dean Sternhagen…born Aug. 19, 1990…member of the WCHS student council…majoring in Construction Management at MSUM…brother Jake, played football at MSUM from 2000-04.
