USTFCCCA All-Academic Track & Field 2025-26

MSUM Honored on USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams

NEW ORLEANS, La. -- Minnesota State Moorhead track & field was showcased as part of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Awards on Monday. Both the Dragon men and women were named All-Academic Teams while seven student-athletes were tabbed as All-Academic individuals. 

The Dragon individual honorees included Kiley Kranz, Allysah Larson, Hunter Petersen, Jared Gregoire, Colin O'Farrell, Jaiden Peraza and Frosty Wisnewski. 

Individual student-athletes earn USTFCCCA All-Academic with a nomination from their head coach while meeting the following criteria:
  1. Minimum cumulative grade point average of a 3.25 on a 4.0 scale through the end of the semester of competition. Institutions utilizing a different GPA scale must convert the GPA to a 4.0 scale using the standard conversion method [GPA/Scale x 4.0]. Data must be certifiable by the institution's registrar.
  2. Must have been academically eligible at the National Championships in the respective season that his or her athletic mark was achieved in.
  3. Transfer students and/or graduate students are to include only grades earned at the current nominating institution.
  4. Athletic Criteria: Must have achieved ONE of the following:
    1. Must have finished the season among the top 50 individuals listed on the descending order lists on TFRRS.
    2. In addition, any athletes not among the top 50, but who participated at the Indoor OR Outdoor National Championships, are eligible.
    3. Must have competed as a member of one of the top 35 relay teams as listed on the descending order list on TFRRS.
    4. In addition, any athletes not among the top 35 relay teams, but who participated in the relay at the Indoor OR Outdoor National Championships, are eligible.  
    5. Finally, any competing relay team member on an expanded descending order list to include 35 institutions (1 relay team per institution) is eligible.
MSUM's men's team bolstered a 3.02 cumulative GPA while the Dragon women held a 3.50 mark for the academic year. 

Teams are earn USTFCCCA All-Academic with a nomination from their head coach while meeting the following criteria as a collective:
  1. The cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the NCAA Squad List for Indoor and/or Outdoor Track and Field must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, certifiable by the institution's registrar. Institutions utilizing a different GPA scale must convert the GPA to a 4.0 scale using the standard conversion method [GPA/Scale x 4.0].
  2. The cumulative GPA of all student-athletes on the institution's NCAA Squad List for Indoor and/or Outdoor Track and Field must be computed by the following method:
    1. Total the cumulative number of semester hours or quarter hours earned for all student-athletes on the NCAA Squad List including the most recent grading period;
    2. Total the cumulative number of quality points (GPA multiplied by the number of credit hours) earned by all student-athletes including the most recent grading period;
    3. Divide the cumulative number of quality points earned by the cumulative number of semester or quarter hours earned.
  3. Transfer students and/or graduate students are to include only grades earned at the current nominating institution.
