MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Minnesota State Moorhead tennis concludes the 2025-26 regular season on the road this weekend. The Dragons clash with Minnesota Crookston on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. before taking on St. Cloud State on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. Both duals will be played at Sta-Fit Tennis Center in Sartell, Minn. 

Matchup History...The Dragons and Golden Eagles met up in non-conference action back on January 31 with UMC winning 6-1. Minnesota Crookston's victory snapped a two-dual streak for the Dragons. Since the 2009 season, Moorhead is 17-2 overall against the Golden Eagles. Entering Sunday's meeting with the Huskies, MSUM has won each of the last three matchups. St. Cloud State dominated the early history of the series, but the Dragons have won 10 of the last 12 duals dating back to the 2015 season. 

Last Time Out...The Dragons have not competed since March 27 and 28, falling to both Sioux Falls and 21st-ranked Augustana. Moorhead's number one doubles team of Luzmary Diaz Castillo and Sophia Felderman collected a 7-5 victory over USF's Sofiya Janos and Chloe Siegfort. Also against the Cougars, Diaz Castillo earned a win by opponent retirement. The senior won her first set over Siegfort (6-0) before the retirement. 

By The Numbers...Diaz Castillo leads the Dragons in singles play, holding a 12-8 overall record this season, including a 5-3 mark in NSIC matches. Felderman has also tallied 10 wins on the season with a 4-4 record in NSIC competition. Sophomore Camilla Bonini is closing in on her 10th victory of the season, holding an 8-11 mark overall this season. As a collective this season, Moorhead has 46 singles victories as well as 23 doubles wins.
