SARTELL, Minn. – Minnesota State Moorhead tennis dropped another close NSIC match on Saturday afternoon. The Dragons fell to Minnesota Crookston, 4-3. 

Minnesota Crookston would win the doubles point behind victories at the number two and three positions. MSUM's number one team of Luzmary Diaz Castillo and Sophia Felderman would collect their 10th win of the season, defeating Daniela De Lucas Rivera and Abril Manas Hernandez, 6-2. The pair now has six conference victories this season. 

Diaz Castillo would grab a team point for Moorhead at the number one singles position, winning a three-set bout with De Lucas Rivera. The senior won the first set 6-2 before bookending the match with a 6-2 victory in set three. Diaz Castillo now has 13 singles wins this season, including six NSIC victories. Katryna Hansen would tack on another team point for MSUM at the number two spot. The Moorhead native would defeat Asli Oktay in straight sets (6-4, 6-4) for her seventh singles victory of the 2025-26 season. Camilla Bonini would conclude the singles victories for the Dragons at the number five position. Bonini earned her ninth singles win of the season in straight sets over Kavya Singh, 6-3, 7-5.
