MOORHEAD, Minn. -- MSU Moorhead men's basketball fell five spots to eighth in the weekly National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) poll. The rankings were the third of the 2024-25 season.
The Dragons earned the eighth spot behind 256 points while Nova Southeastern continued to top the poll with 400 points and 16 first-place votes. MSUM falls five places after splitting games against Northern Michigan and Michigan Tech. The Huskies bested the Dragons, 74-70 on Saturday afternoon to hand MSUM its first lost of the 2024-25 campaign.
Other NSIC teams in the poll this week include Minnesota Duluth (4), Southwest Minnesota State (22), Wayne State (RV), Minot State (RV) and Augustana (RV).
MSUM is off for the Thanksgiving weekend before beginning NSIC play on Thursday, December 5. The Dragons meet up with Northern State inside Nemzek Fieldhouse at 7:30 p.m.
