Ben Oie have all been named to the Academic All-District team as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
The 2022-23 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in athletic competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes track & field/cross country honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 28 (women) and June 29 (men). The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
Sowada graduated with a 3.87 GPA in computational mathematics and math education while Zaiger possess a 3.89 GPA as a film production major. Bruer recently completed his business administration degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.7 while Johnson also graduated with a 3.63 GPA as an exercise science major. Also graduating this spring, Oie earned a cumulative GPA of 3.82 as an exercise science major while Larson owns a 3.69 GPA as a business administration major. MacLennan has worked for a 3.58 GPA as a criminal justice major.
