The Minnesota State University Moorhead men's basketball team will travel to Wayne, Neb. to compete in the GAC-NSIC Challenge. The Dragons face Oklahoma Baptist University at 8 p.m. on Friday, then Southeastern Oklahoma State University at 4 p.m. on Saturday this weekend.
The Dragons are led back onto the court by seniors
Jaden Stanley-Williams,
Lorenzo McGhee,
Trever Kaiser, and
Gavin Baumgartner. Also returning for the Dragons is junior
Dane Zimmer. Newcomers for the Dragons are freshmen
Logan Kinsey and
Will Kinsey. Also, a newcomer for the team in junior
Brandon Deravine.
MSUM was picked second in the preseason NSIC poll and
Gavin Baumgartner was named the 'Player To Watch'. The Dragons were also ranked 21st in the NABC Division II preseason poll.

Tim Bergstraser is in his first season as head coach at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Newcomers for the team are freshmen Aaron Jacob, Jalen Williams, Santiago Camacho Gomez, Brady Brister, Landon Condiff, Chandler Dickinson, Jameson Richardson, Robert Briley, and Michal Wooldridge. Kelly Green is in his twelfth season as head coach at Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
