#ThrowbackThursday features 1970s Dragon Track and Field and Cross Country standout Dave Chilko, who was the school record holder in the marathon event. A native of Inver Grove Heights, Minn., Chilko set the school record in the marathon with at time of two hours, 28 minutes and six seconds. He finished fourth in marathon at NAIA nationals in 1975 and finished sixth in marathon at Drake Relays in 1976. Chilko was inducted into the MSUM Sports Hall of Fame in 2017.
