D2CCA All-Central Region Teams
WEATHERFORD, Okla. — Minnesota State University Moorhead junior forward Megan Hintz has been named to the D2CCA All-Central Region Second Team, it was announced on Thursday. It was the first all-region honor of Hintz's Dragon career.

Hintz was an All-NSIC First Team selection and a three-time NSIC North Division Player of the Week.

The junior from Rochester, Minn., leads MSUM in scoring (15.6 ppg) and rebounding (9.9). She has a team and NSIC-best 16 double-doubles and has led the team in scoring 16 times and in rebounding 27 times.

Hintz had a career-high 28 points — twice — in games against Sioux Falls this season. She had a career-high 17 rebounds in a win over Minnesota Crookston on Dec. 7, 2018.

Sports information directors from NCAA Division II Central Region schools and conferences selected the D2CCA all-region teams. The process concludes with All-American selections announced later in the month. The NCAA Division II Conference Commissioners sponsored the All-Region teams.
