ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Minnesota State University Moorhead volleyball team was swept by No. 7-ranked Concordia-St. Paul on Friday, losing 25-15, 25-21, 25-14 in St. Paul, Minn.
MSUM fell to 8-12 overall and 3-9 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference while CSP improved to 16-4 overall and 10-2 in the league.
In the last 12 matches, MSUM has faced eight ranked foes, and another that was receiving votes.
The Golden Bears hit .379 for the match, led by Jasmine Mulvihill and Katie Mattson with 10 kills each.

The first set was tied at 13-13 after a Bakke kill but CSP scored nine of the next 10 points to surge into a 22-14 lead, on its way to a 25-15 win. In the second set MSUM fell behind early but hung around and was within 21-18 after a Jenkins kill but got no closer, falling 25-21.
CSP built a 10-4 lead in the third set on its way to a 25-14 win.
MSUM plays at Minnesota State, Mankato on Saturday for a 2 p.m. match.
