The Dragon women return three starters from last year's 23-6 team that won the NSIC regular season title for a second straight year. That includes All-NSIC First Team selection
Jacky Volkert, who averaged 13.7 points and 5.4 assists last season. Volkert is a senior guard. Junior center
Megan Hintz is back after averaging 11.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game, while sophomore guard
Lauren Fech started all 29 games at point guard and averaged 3.3 points and 2.6 assists per game.
MSUM hosts Minnesota Morris in an exhibition game on Nov. 2 before opening the regular season vs. Arkansas Tech on Nov. 9 in Kansas City, Mo.
