MOORHEAD, Minn. - The College Sports Information Directors of America announced Saturday that Allison Wanner, the Minnesota State University Moorhead womens soccer goalkeeper was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District second team.
Wanner, a Mandan, N.D. native, is majoring in Graphic Communications and was voted in by the District 5 Sports Information Directors. She is among the ten Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference athletes on the three teams. The only other goalkeeper from the league is from Augustana, Kayla Radloff, who is on the Third Team.
Wanner met the nomination criteria of: the student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution; must have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's games at the position listed on the nomination form; and has completed one full calendar year at his/her current institution and has reached sophomore athletic eligibility.
